I am a fellow WoW player just like you. I started playing World of Warcraft early 2005. I struggled with the game quite a bit initially, not necessarily gold wise, but with game general mechanics as this was my first MMORPG. There were just so much things to take in.

 

I wanted to get a guide to walk me through, sadly Blizzard never made any official guide. I was afraid of getting an unofficial guide because I always knew that they can't keep half of the promises on their sales letters.

 

Still, I bought quite a few, and they proved me right. After going through almost every single WoW related guide, I realized almost 80% of the WoW Guides out there are garbage. I did manage to find a few gems in the vast sea.

 

 

BUT

 

 

No guide is going to make you a better WoW player instantly; nothing can replace actual game experience. A good guide however CAN help you reduce many frustrations and many times save you hours and hours of game time.

 

My goal with WoWDotCom is to provide you guys with the most up-to-date World of Warcraft tips and strategies, and help you guys and myself become better WoW players.

 

 

This is the Internet, I know you guys aren't going to pay attention to every website you visit. What makes mine different? Here's a couple things to 'convince' you.

 

Don't worry, I am not going to post screenshots of just my bag with 27,000 gold. Honestly I think that's one of the most retarded things to do.

 

 

I will give you a tour through my account and show you some of my proudest characters.

 

I started out as an alliance hunter:

I have never raided with this guy. PVP is about the only thing I do on him now.

 

I have just recently received the Armored Netherdrake, which is achieved from ranking in the top 0.5% of an entire Battlegroup! I think it's a pretty damn good achievement, with a HUNTER too :D, people need to stop saying hunters suck in arenas. Picture taken July 24, 2008.

 

 

Late 2005, I rerolled Horde to play with a couple of my buddies, and besides, being bad is so much more fun!

I have raided on this guy pre-BC as a Fury-DPS warrior, but with the Burning Crusade and the downsizing of raids, guilds started to frown upon plate wearing DPSers. Consider how much I hate tanking and me possibly being one of the worst tanks ever. I rerolled again.

 

RIght now, this guy have become my mining and afk-BG(JK) bot. I do kind of regret grinding Netherwing dailies for over a month now that I have the Armored Netherdrake.

 

 

For the Horde? My Warlock

 

I rolled a female BE Warlock. Honestly, it was a nice change of scenery considering how long I've been staring an Orc's behind.

Ashes of A'lar is definitely one of my most treasured items.

 

I am currently taking a break from raiding, awaiting for the Wrath of the Lich King.
